The benefits of Practice Insights should not be the domain of the lucky few, but be available to all. From allowing individual staff members to understand their own performance, through giving managers and team leaders a clear overview of goals
and achievements, to facilitating board-level decision making, strategic positioning, and forecasting.
Continual improvement and optimisation is about gaining insight into what has been achieved and what to do next. It is having the ability to check on progress at any stage, and if needed, make changes and move on.
However, preparing for any optimisation process takes planning, be it data entry, automation setup, education, etc. It is important to set timeframes, and to commit to this preparation process. Done properly this will ensure maximum value can be gained
from the insights the solution imparts.
The key is in understanding the target audience, as this will differ by process. Individual client conversations on site require a different delivery method to providing board-level reporting on positioning and opportunities. Half the battle is in getting
people to see the value being produced. Delivering information in the right format at the right time to the right people goes a long way to getting buy-in from all involved.
