This article does not include Known Issues which are not part of this release. 

The Known Issues are detailed separately in the Knowledge Base articles listed below, the KB is for internal use only, fix scripts can be sent to client's where required. 

CORRECTIONS SINCE RELEASE

The table below lists corrections since release. (Last updated on 15/08/2013)

Instructions to apply the Hotfixes:

1. Some of the fixes are SQL scripts that will need to be run against either the aps_dss or the aps_dsql as specified below. For these fixes please open the script in SQL server manager and run the script against the appropriate database. 

2. For the fixes which are not sql scripts please copy the .htm files to the PIQ reports folder on your network. 

PIQ 9.2

Solution

The number of Days in the month is wrong (Field Days_In_Month) for entries in months that have more days than the next mouth in the calendar.

The days number would count down until it reached the number for the next month

Error when selecting a view for the list available. This error showed in Personal Console but was trapped in IE.

Fixed

Fix for the MyViews Pivot table. Replace any instance of the MyViews.htm report in the PIQ web site.

Fixes to - ‘Time - Budgets (Persisted Attributes)’ and ‘Time - Budgets (Persisted Attributes) Full’ scripts

Both these scripts had errors that caused the PIQ build to crash if they are run.

Fixed

Both the scripts (time-Budgets(Persisted attributes) full.sql & Time-Budgets (persisted attributes.sql) need to be run against the data warehouse (aps_dss) to update the Usys_SQLScripts table. The PIQ build will need to be run fully to see results.

Script had errors that caused the PIQ build to crash if they are run.

Pivot report

Was using the Matter attributes to feed the top captions on the report

Fixed

Replace the Time Analysis (Internal).htm file in the PIQ reports folder.

Internet Explorer 11 has changed the way in which it identifies itself,
because IQ is only available to Internet Explorer, it checks the browser
before allowing the user to view a pivot table in OWC.

The incorrect identification causes the use Internet Explorer error when using Internet Explorer 11.

Fixed

This fix removes the check and thus the faulty error condition report.

1. Locate the existing piqhead.asp file in the report sites root directory e.g. wwwroot\PracticeIQ\PIQReports\ and rename it to piqhead_old.asp or similar

PIQ NZ Tax v2.0

Bug - IRD Benchmarks incorrect
The original 501 Tax_NZ_IRDStats script had incorrect IRD benchmarks in place. This update has the correct benchmarks.

PIQ AUS Tax v2.0

Solution

The Tax Dashboard report has a bug on the drill through option of the “Totals” line on the “Partner Statistics” and “Manager Statistics” sections.

Regardless of whatever Return Types are selected, the drill through only brings up the Returns Summary report for the “Individual” return type.

Fixed

The Tax Dashboard.rdl report has been modified to display all the Return type selected on the drill through section. Copy attached.

How to apply fix

Take a copy of the Aus Tax Solution from the General Release section and copy to a Target location.

On the Target Location, browse to the

\Tax AU v2.0\Solution\Advance PracticeIQ AusTax SSRS subfolder.

Replace the existing “Tax Dashboard.rdl” with the one attached.

Open the solution in BI Development Studio, provide the valid data source connections and deploy the report.

PIQ Workflow v2.0

Solution

Bug 6698: The original Add_Workflow_Usys_Script.sql script incorrectly marked matters as URGENT ATTENTION if the matter
did not have a dollar budget in PM.

Fixed

To apply this fix run the Update_Workflow_Status_Script_306.sql script on the
aps_dss after workflow has been deployed and then reprocess Workflow. This update should be applied to all deployments
until the new build is released.

PIQ Perspective v1.0

Solution

PIQ Per Green Util staff detail report was not filtering to the Staff Perspective. if a staff member was a Partner or Manager then they would appear more than once in the list. Added the Perspective = ‘Staff’ to the where clause

Fixed

Copy and replace the ‘PIQ Per Green Util Staff Detail.rdl’ in the Perspective Solution in the Perspective SSRS folder before deploying the soluiton.

Some Debt transactions were being missed when the DTR Summary table (Perspective_DTRSummaryMatter) is being built.

Fix applied to ensure all transactions are available in low level reporting

Run this script against the Data Warehouse (aps_dss) to replace existing Stored Procedure (spPIQPerspectiveBuildDDMSummary).

The drill through to the transactional reporting was very slow on large databases for these summary and detail reports.

The reports have been reconfigured to speed then up.
