The new SBR specifications require the name to exactly match the ATO portal for the Client Update form when lodging a Return Not Necessary. This includes The Trustee for which needs to be added for all trusts, to match the name recorded by the ATO.
The following error messages are triggered:
CMN.ATO.GEN.EM0008 - Authorisation to access taxpayer details failed. Confirm client to agent relationship and resubmit.
CMN.ATO.GEN.EM0014 - The details you have entered do not match the Tax Office records. Review the details entered.
The ATO has changed the specifications. Please make sure the name inside the CURNN is the same as the ATO portal.
