An issue has been reported in Reckon APS Tax 2019.2.0 where the Capital Works Worksheet prints Assets twice. This is not a bug.

The client has entered the capital works as a stand-alone asset and then added exactly the same costs as a capital works item attached to the asset. It’s printing twice because the items have been entered twice. Capital work items are the items that adds on to the Asset, like adding a toilet (capital work) to a house (asset). As you the toilet cannot be sold on its own, it counts as an element of the house. For each capital work items, you need to nominate whether the expenditure was incurred by the previous owner (in which case the cost is included in the purchase price) or the current owner (in which case the cost is added to the cost base).

This knowledge article will help you understand how the capital work worksheet works.
