An issue has been reported in Reckon APS Tax 2019.6.0 where the error below appears when updating client details in Tax Services console.

For Individual clients:

The taxpayer’s D.O.B may be missing or invalid. Please update the D.O.B in the Central Console. 

For Non-Individual clients:

The taxpayer’s TFN may be missing or invalid. Go to Central Console > AUS File Numbers to check these numbers.

Resolution

This has been fixed in 2019.6.1.

1. Uninstall Reckon APS Tax Manager & Elite Forms 2019.6.0 and Reckon APS Tax 2019.6.0. 

2. Install Reckon APS Tax Manager & Elite Forms 2019.6.1 and Reckon APS Tax 2019.6.1.
